Airtel Broadband Latest update

Hi Guys,
I have escalated the call to airtel authority. There seems to be some
misunderstanding. Airtel broadband Authority informed me that Builders
have denied the permission to install DP box within building. I have
also taken this matter to builders and got the clarification from
them. I have asked airtel channel manager to sort this issue as early
as possible but it seems that it might take indefinite time to install
airtel broadband in the apartment at the moment. I am in constant
touch with airtel guys, if there is any latest news on this i will
keep you posted. If anyone needs urgent connection then you can go
with other service providers or wireless connection.

Hi,
we(benzan 109 and I ) are in touch with one person called jagadish with whom we applied for the connection 2 weeks back. today we spoke to him and the update was that airtel ppl got the approval to take the cable from divya kolkar building and provide the connection to us. for that they had to get some approval letters from that building association. looks like they have got all the approvals to dig and set up the cable from that building. he said they will start the work from tomorrow and they can give the connection by saturday. But he has been saying the same thing for past 1 week.
did everyone apply with the same guy?

Here is latest update ...

I followed up with airtel channel manager this afternoon again
regarding this issue and they visited apartment at 4.15 PM today. They
said they will need an agreement between air-tel and our builders. I
have informed the same to our builders. Friday air-tel will get
agreement copy that need to be signed by our builders . once this
agreement is completed , airtel can proceed with shifting of the DP
BOX. If everything goes smooth this time then we might get connection
within December otherwise we will have to wait :) . There are 2 teams
technical team and sales team, sales team is only pushing for new
connections but not taking any action on getting DP Box installed. If
anyone is taking this matter to airtel then make sure you are talking
to technical team.

Hi All,
whoever is waiting for airtel broadband connection, It seems like air-
tel would not be able to provide broadband connection in near future.
Despite following up with them regularly they are not showing any
interest in installing either DP or providing new connections. They
are telling same old story from past 2 months. Its been almost 2
months now it would be better to go for 4G wireless connection which
works out same cost as that of broadband.

One airtel guy walked over to our apt (301) for handing over the flier and informed that the DP is ready and he can start giving connections.
Not sure if he was telling this just like that or in fact things are fixed now?

Hi All,
Just to meet year end target, they are pushing for new connections .
do not pay them any money. just ask them to install DP and then
proceed with applications.
Yesterday one airtel technical team had come to apartment and claiming
that they got permission from Divya kolkar building only for 4 months.
They don't have any answer for what will happen to these connections
after 4 months. Also they informed that only people going through them
with fresh applications will get connection and they will not give
connections to those who have made earlier bookings though other
Airtel Sales persons. so there are 4 airtel agencies who have
collected documents from all guys in apartment. all 4 airtel agencies
are fighting within themselves. We need to be very strict and allow
them to install DP only if they are ready to give connections to all
people in apartment irrespective of the airtel agencies they have
booked.

Also there are many facilities we can get from air-tel like free
intercom etc. we can tackle this issue collectively.
Praveen, Benzon, as spoken to him yesterday lets allow them only if
they provide connections to all who have applied earlier.
