Share the same feelings here too. As I said before, and as you
know, we shared the same room. He had been to my house in Madurai and later in
Madras \ Chennai too.
I have also been to Thummalapatti and shared a meal or two with
his folks.
I used to call him “Tums” and gave me the title “Sullan”,
a name that stuck to me, during the time I was in the hostel, at least. I don’t
remember him calling me anything else.
He was strong stocky fellow and could wrestle anyone down. Very
affectionate chap. We even went for Karate classes together on weekends to
Madurai City.
Later he dropped out. Memories are flooding and I feel really
sad to hear this.
Not sure how to convey my condolences to his family. May GOD
almighty help his family find the courage to bear this irreplaceable loss.
I know he had two children. Does anyone have any details?

difficult one to digest, and can't describe my sorrow in words. You
all know my friendship with Seerangan, and he is a true friend that i had in my
troubled college life. Stayed in his home for number of
days during the strike in our college, and also stayed with him
in a rental room in Madurai as well. I truly miss him, and whether am a good
friend to him or not he was a true one. I spoke to him couple of
times recently but most of the time our conversation was interrupted by poor reception. Sorry
to ask this, but if any one knows how to reach his family members please
let me know.
My heartfelt condolence to his family, and pray that GOD may comfort
his family.

That is really sad. I always
thought he was a very strong lad. I still remember going to his house and
had the best coconut chutney I have ever had. He was a great guy to be
with, although doesn't speak much. Gopi must have very fond memoried of
him. My heartfelt condolences, and prayers for his family.
