Dear Friends,

Very happy talking to you all. Only yesterday I bought my tickets. I thought of informing you guys in April/May about my trip and I was thinking of asking you all to plan a meeting. But, Manimozhiyan's call this morning was a pleasant surprise. Great men think alike (if we can't pat ourselves then who will?) -  I'm sure Gopi will come up with a statement to refute this claim.

I was so happy that we could also get the hold of Williams. As I told you all, I'll be reaching Madurai on June 7th morning. Give me a couple of days for the jet lag. I'm planning to be there in India till mid July. I might be in and out of Madurai on family commitments.  But, I'm sure that I would be able to attend the proposed meeting without fail. Before fixing the date please wait for the responses of  Williams, Gopi & Larry. Let them plan their trips also. I've yet to talk to Larry/Albert and Gopi. It would be wonderful if all the NRIs of our class could come. Let us see how does it progress. 

Mani, unlike last time, please avoid frequent meetings at Madurai that might dilute the enthusiasm of our June/July meeting. Let us inform about the meeting well ahead so that everyone could attend. Mani, don't burn yourself by doing everything. As usual, TKG can take care of the organizing part. As a current head of the department, Mothi can help us out more this time. Ramachandran, Sathy & Manimaran can give some more help. Raghupathy could also  play some role in organizing this event. I could only make phone calls to get more support. So, please update our database with the correct phone numbers.

Just spoke to Nehru. He has promised me that he would be there this time. 

Good to know that you guys got the hold of Sekar and Karthi. I'll kick Chander if he fails to attend this time. Get Sankaran also (Delhi vaazh tamilan).  Don't forget Chennai makkal Bala & Jayabalan. Put everyone in the loop. Hope CTR & Suresh will be there? How about PLS, Muthuraman, Venkatesan & Narayanasamy, Ayyanar, Padmanaban, Chandru & Anbuvaanan?

Sunder, I can make this time to your university. Let us work that out separately.

  I am glad , we are once again getting ready for another get together ,I don't have any major committment around June if you folks can firm up the date it will easy for me to plan. I hope we should be able to make it .

Guys

Good to see that  you are all getting together again. Not sure about me. I will be travelling to Mumbai and possibly Delhi on business. 

In June \July I may be going the other way, to US - during summer to New Jersey for my father's 80th birthday - well that is the plan right now, provided he can travel - He is in Kochi now. Will let you guys know. As CT says, firm up the dates.

Good work guys. When you are 'thick as thieves', even crooks think alike, but I will concede that you chaps are great, Ilango and Mani.
