Happy to receive your call.
I can't express in words when i heard your voice.
The same person and the same voice after 25 years.
Sa.Kandasawy, a well known Tamil writer - one of his best novel "Tholinthu ponavargal"
(pl translate in Tamil) - In that novel a person like you put effort to search four of his
class mates and finally he meet all of them. Whenever they meet they shared their
old experience in school days and personal life also.
Like all of us I am also eager to meet all.

I have a problem with you.
You have chosen to call every one of our classmates EXCEPT ME.
In Southern Africa we call it 'discrimination'. We put everything in blank and white too.
As usual Africans are neglected by people in the developed and developing countries.
Telephone charges are very high and calls very expensive in Botswana, unlike US and INDIA.

Dear Bala,
Yes, was busy with some personal and office work, and today is the last date to finish all that.
As you know yesterday was the last date for filing taxes here, 1040. This year apart from filing
tax for us as a family, i have to file a tax for my daughter to. So, i e-filed the tax on the 14th, one day
earlier than the tax dead line, and got email acceptance from IRS, OOOPh, got relief from the pressure.
So, how thinks are there, and i know apart from the election fever the temp is also rising up it seems in chennai.
Here, today the temp is around 12 degree and the weekend its going to be around 20 to 22 degree. Slowly, slowly
its getting warmer to do some think outside.

Gopi,
It is not that I don't want to call you. It is a matter of
convenience. 8 hrs time difference does not suit me and work schedule
very well. I'll be in my office at 7:20 AM (CDT) - that is evening
3:20 for you. When I get back from my work it will be already 1:30 AM
at Botswana. Would you want me call you at that time. Your wife will
kill me if I do that. So, only weekends. You, William and Larry will
know how hectic the weekends are here. Anyway, I might surprise you
this weekend. I saw your message in google talk. Did you vanish after
saying hi? Just wondering

Nice talking to you. Hope your daughter (I forgot to ask her name btw)
will master the swimming and soon will become another Amudha
(triathelon medal winner). Thanks for the complements. Did you mean
"தொலைந்து போனவர்கள்" is the name of the book? I would rather call
myself as a "புலம் பெயர்ந்து போனவன்". But still I want to read that
book when I get a chance.
All others (except Gopi),
I spoke to Suresh Kumar and Venkatesan. Could not get the hold of
Somasundaram. They were very delighted and look forward to meet
everyone at the reunion.

Just forgot to add this. Spoke to Chandar also. He sounded like
"பயில்வான் ரங்கநாதன்" (I did not expect this voice). I guess I woke
him up very early.
