AudioMon slow to react

Hello,

I'm currently using Volume² to display a volume OSD, but I'd like to start using Snarl for this (via AudioMon).

I have however noticed that Snarl's AudioMon doesn't perform quite as well as Volume² when it comes to rapid volume changes (e.g. via Ctrl/Alt + mouse wheel). It tends to lag behind quite a bit.

I've made a short video to illustrate this:

Notice how long it takes Snarl to "catch up" with all the changes.

Is there anything that could be done about this?
