Hello World!

I'm currently testing your editor for my project and run into a smaller annoyance:
I integrated the Form SnapEditor in a form with several input elements. After having entered all the text in the input element prior to the editor I'd like to move the focus to the editor by hitting the tab key. However, this doesn't seem to work automatically and I didn't find a function to programmatically set focus using javascript. Am I missing something?
Otherwise charming editor!

Cheers, Tom

Hi Tom,

Thanks for checking us out!

Unfortunately, this annoyance has no workaround at the moment. There is no way to properly tab in and tab out of SnapEditor for now.

I've added this to the list, but there's no guarantee that this will be implemented soon.

Cheers,
Wesley

Hi Wesley

I see. I wondered whether it'd be possible to make a quick and dirty solution by simulating a click on your editor. However,

$('.snapeditor_form_content').trigger("click");

didn't yield any results. I wonder whether I might be trying to trigger the event on the wrong element. Any leads?

Best Tom

Hi Tom,

This actually exposes a slightly bigger problem in which SnapEditor doesn't have a way to activate/deactivate using code.

I had some time and ended up implementing this and tabbing in and out of SnapEditor.Form. Look for it in the next release.

Cheers,
Wesley

Hi Wesley

Excellent, should this work I'll most certainly spend some coin on your editor when my site is ready. After having tested several others I find yours to be functioning very smoothly; tabbing in lists, easy table handling and nice html code!

Best, Tom
