Nested sub-views in digestive-functors?

Hey guys. This is a bit off topic but I'm wondering if anyone knows if it's possible to have nested sub-views in digestive-functors. I suspect not because I can't get it working with the heist backend. If that is the case, what's the recommended way to build up a single type from a subset of form fields?

Hmmm, I thought it worked.  Could you post an example that demonstrates the problem?

I'll try to devise a simple example. My thought now is that dfSubView basically gives you a new name scope. The workaround I have in place now is to just remove the dfSubViews which were nested in other dfSubViews (leaving only the dfSubViews nested in the dfForm). That way I lose the name scope.
