It is really annoying if you adb push/pull large files to the device that there's no way to now how far along it is. Is it possible to run adb push or adb pull and get a progress bar using the 'bar' utility?

The main issue here is I think that adb expects two file names, if the input file could be replaced by stdin you could pipe through the 'bar' utility and get a progress bar. So far I haven't succeeded in doing so, but I'm not really a shell guru which is why I'm asking here :)

It works somewhat, it shows a progress bar going from 0 to 100 which is nice. However, it won't be correct if you do a lot of small files, and worse, the bytes/s and total bytes shown by 'bar' aren't correct.

Both individuals and organizations that work with arXivLabs have embraced and accepted our values of openness, community, excellence, and user data privacy. arXiv is committed to these values and only works with partners that adhere to them.

Async processing in Shiny is supposed to take a long-running function and give control back to the user. However, it would still be nice to let the user know that the computation is running in the background. I cannot figure out how to structure the async process to run in the background and still display a progress indicator. Below is the example code I've been fiddling with. I think the progress indicator is one issue, but also the creation of the table doesn't seem to be working with async processing.

The Help file mentions, "The backup process does not interrupt your work or slow down the performance of ArcGIS Pro", but I would beg to differ as I am reoccurringly in a stalled state of not being able to select layers and other functionality and get frustrated and look up and sure enough [Backup in progress].

I have the same issue in 2.9.1. I've been dealing with lags for a while in big projects, but I've only recently noticed the "Backup in Progress" message in the title bar. Since the backup essentially locks me out of the app while it's occurring, I think the backup frequency should be "x minutes from end of last backup" rather than "every x minutes"

Hello there. I 've got an image which is importing good . In my widget blueprint as an image is good, but I want it as a progress bar and it 's like square-getting cropped. Any ideas about this issue?

We were able to renew the SonarCloud token in the Azure DevOps service connection.
Everything seems ok, appart from the status not being reported to Azure DevOps and this blue message about an analysis in progress. The Azure DevOps tasks logs are perfectly ok, as usual.
This is the case for all projects we have.

And since nothing has really changed with how the analysis is running and providing results, that my issue within DevOps build pipelines, and PRs staling / holding while awaiting for the results to post is likely not impacted by this fix?

It looks like there is a problem with authorization. Are you sure the token you have set on the project level is correct? (I noticed that you said you refreshed the tokens, but maybe not on the project level)

Believe in Progress features conversations with cancer survivors, patient advocates, and leading researchers and physician-scientists. Hosted by Mitch Stoller, Chief Philanthropic Officer of the AACR, each episode highlights the importance of lifesaving cancer research and its impact on real people who have been touched by the disease.

Since seeing the impact of cancer on a childhood friend diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia in 2012, Matthew Marquardt has worked to raise awareness and funds to defeat cancer. Listen as Matthew joins Mitch to discuss how to make a difference against cancer.

In this episode, Mitch talks with triple-negative breast cancer survivor Donna James, a corporate leader and respected advisor as managing partner of Lardon & Associates, LLC, about her cancer journey and how it impacts her advocacy for others with cancer.

Mitch speaks with Marcus Smith II, a professional athlete, philanthropist, and entrepreneur dedicated to ending the stigma surrounding mental health, especially in professional sports. This important conversation coincides with Suicide Prevention Awareness Month.

Technology entrepreneur Howard Brown, a two-time stage IV cancer patient, survivor, and advocate, shares the keys to leading a resilient life with hope with Mitch, in this episode of Believe in Progress.

In Episode 1 of Believe in Progress: an AACR Foundation Podcast: host Mitch Stoller, Chief Philanthropic Officer of the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR), talks with acclaimed singer Lauren Hart about her cancer journey.

The most likely reason for obtaining a "Warning: Activity deletion in progress" message is because your cron isn't running. It should run every minute. For details of how to check it, please see the documentation Cron.

Regarding the main issue. I just test without using a queue, solves this issue, you dont need to invoke the full solution just to test a single queue item, when you get to doing an integration test where you see if the dispatcher and performer work together this shouldnt be an issue.

Ergophobia has a long history. The first ergophobes were people like the textile workers who adopted the label Luddite, whose livelihoods were destroyed by a combination of steam power, the Jacquard loom, and other technologies. The coal-fired boilers that powered those life-upending machines and the by-products of energy-intensive processes made nineteenth-century factory cities like Liverpool into polluted hellscapes. The Romantic movement fought back against the environmental damage caused by ever more energy-intensive processes: strip-mined mountainsides, rivers filled with industrial waste, and smog from trains that turned views of far-off mountains into flat gray nothingness.

The optimistic vision of a sustainable world could be beautiful. If you draw the thread of sustainability out into the future, you get a small, consistent population with moderate ambitions living in a few places around the world. Fields of solar panels and wind turbines producing a sustainable amount of energy. Aesthetic, plant-covered buildings that produce food for the local population. Solarpunk.

Here are the stages of a typical painting of mine while in progress. My favorite way to begin is to tone the canvas with thinned paint and, using a rag, wipe away the light areas to create the drawing. This also establishes the values and light effect I want right from the start. When dry, I add some lines and dashes of color to get started. I like to work from the background forward, pretty much alla prima.

We dig plants when they are dormant from our outdoor beds and ship them April-May and October. Some species go dormant in the summer and we can ship them July/August. We are among the few still employing this production method, which is labor intensive but plant-friendly. They arrive to you dormant, with little to no top-growth (bare-root), packed in peat moss. They should be planted as soon as possible. Unlike greenhouse-grown plants, bare-root plants can be planted during cold weather or anytime the soil is not frozen. A root photo is included with each species to illustrate the optimal depth and orientation. Planting instructions/care are also included with each order.

The classic kanban solution here is to limit work-in-progress.A new project can only be started when an existing project is finished, creating a feedback loop preventingus from overwhelming ourselves with unfinished tasks.

Even this fairly naive work in progress limit here creates enough feedback to allowus to continue benefiting from additional hiring. Note that the started and finished linesend up wholly overlapping after the fourth round, which is why started appears to go away.

Previously, without the work-in-progress limit we only finished twelve projectsin 100 rounds, but now with a work-in-progress limit we finish 198 tasksin the same 100 rounds. This is a pretty cool result, showing how startingwork faster than we finish work hampers our overall throughput.

Also note, that having so much work in progress is still slowing us down quite a bitrelative to optional throughput. We can experiment with this by making the back pressureon starting tasks more powerful.

In Progress is a small non-profit arts center dedicated to paving the way for new voices in the field of digital arts. In Progress has been promoting the voices of newly developing artists since its inception in 1996. The organization offices out of a store front in Saint Paul Minnesota but most of our activities extend well beyond this location. Our artists work throughout the United States in partnership with youth, communities and schools to develop opportunities for young people to develop their skills as digital storytellers. Please take some time to check out our website. Listen to our stories, meet our artists and find out where our stories are being told!

with this, I can use toolbar to quickly input status. however, changing from status to status still requires both removing wip tag and checking, which feels unnecessary and leaves artifacts sometimes.
