Hey All, 

I miss you!!!

In other news though, I wanted to share what I'm up to and ask for your gracious help in getting the word out, if you're willing. 

Here's the deal: There's an awesome non-profit run by a Venice chick - Chelsea Roff (Julian knows her! :) - called Eat Breathe Thrive and it (in addition to many other wonderful programs) runs 6 week long community healing programs for individuals with food and body image issues using the amazing capacities of...surprise! Yoga!

Darla and I got approved as facilitators and we'll be doing LA's first thrive tribe at SMY starting Sept 17 and another one starting mid-October which I'll send more info out about soon. The deet's about the SMY Thrive Tribe can be found here: bit.ly/ThriveTribes.

As some of you may know, I definitely credit my own healing from an eating disorder to yoga, and eating disorders are notoriously hard to recover from, and there are a lot of people out there who are struggling with food and body issues who could really benefit from this program - it's powerful and it's usefulness has been documented in research studies. 

Sooo...if you want to help spread the word, that would be awesome. Here's the deal - it can be a touchy/taboo subject, so I suggest telling others about it by asking them to share the news with others, instead of hinting that you think they're a candidate for the program. That way they get the info and can use it if they wish, and they've also been asked to share. 

This work really means a lot to me and basically saved my life - not to get too hyberbolic - and I really want to give this resource to others who are suffering, so like I said, if you're willing, or see an opportunity, please think about mentioning this.
