Hi all,

Settings > General iPad Storage:

Files 16.17GB
On My iPad 13.12GB
iCloud Drive 375.9MB

On My iPad I can understand, but what does the figure mean for Files? The storage used by On My iPad is only accessible via Files (pretty much anyway) so is that included in the Files amount? Similarly, iCloud Drive is only accessed through Files (mostly) so is that in the Files figure?

Any clarification appreciated.

Stephen

Just out of interest what version of the operating system is running on this iPad? On the current version of iOS the IPad Storage display is completely different.

In iPad storage, the Files app is shown as taking up  16.17GB, I’m wondering what that comprises and if it includes or excludes the space used for On My iPad.

Why don’t you tap the arrowhead on the right hand side of the Files entry in IPad Storage to see what is listed
