Restore contacts

Hi Smuggers,
Can you help me please? I discovered there were two contact symbols in the dock on home page of my iPad. I deleted one and, to my horror, find both were deleted. Now I have no way to access my contacts app. How do I reinstall it? Do I have to erase everything and reinstall everything? This seems like using a sledgehammer to crack a nut. Your advice would be much appreciated.

Go to the App Store and search for Contacts, you should be able to redownload it
