Have any of you ever come across this problem. On Mac OS X Mavericks in Safari I am unable to log into a website as where there are three scroll down boxes to insert my date of birth I am unable to scroll down and enter the required data. If I try to log in to the same site on my iPad with iOS I have no problem. What is going on?

Hi Diana

What's the website? I'll give it a try.

Regards

Sam

Afternoon Sam,

The website is

www.cunard.com / Already Booked / Log in to Voyage Personaliser

I shall be interest in what someone else on OS X Mavericks gets.  I cannot scroll down on the date of birth items.  I get some numbers visible but cannot get beyond that.  Fine on my iPad so I have been going in via that route.  Just seems weird.

Thanks.

Diana

Hi,

Nothing has changed.  I cannot scroll past the year of 2003 and I am not that young! Nor can I scroll pass the 12th of the month.  I just about get all the months in the box that opens.  I will just stick to using my iPad as it is not a website I use a lot and may not use it again for quite some time.

Thanks for your suggestions.  Much appreciated.

Diana

Try clicking on the year dropdown field, then type in the year you want, it should select the correct item as you type.

Sheer genius.  It worked!!!

Thank you Sam for that piece of inspiration.  Next time I encounter the problem on any website I shall know what to do.  Just never come across it before despite doing most things on line.

That’s usually how I fill out forms anyway, I’m too impatient to manually scroll down lists ;)
