Hi, Every now and then I get emails on my MacBook Air which say "This message has no content" yet I can see the contents on my iPhone or iPad.
Has  anyone come across this and do you know the reason and how to resolve this?
Its very frustrating and its been happening across several releases of software.

Try the following:

Quit Mail
Go to your home folder
Go to Library > Mail > V7 (or highest number there) > maildata > remove any files beginning with Envelope Index
Reopen Mail and click continue to reimport

See if that helps

So the files you mentioned were not there. This is a 2020 M1 MacBook Air, I don't know if that makes a difference
Here is the entire contents under the Mail folder

That’s looks like the Library folder at the top level of the drive. Look for the Library folder inside your home folder.

If you don’t see the Library folder in your home folder, go to the View menu > View as List > View menu again > Show View Options > tick the “show library folder” checkbox
