iPhone mystery

Can anyone explain the "30 Raj. 1442 AH" which now appears below the date when I open my iPhone? This seems to be recent and I assume it is connected with my latest upgrade of the IOS.

This is what it looks like:

30 Raj. 1442 AH

Hi Gillian

It’s an Islamic calendar. Today’s date in the Hijri calendar. I think something in the calendar app has been ticked?

Maybe open it up and see if there are any calendars ticked that you don’t want?

Found it! Look in settings, calendar, alternate calendars.
