Synching photos

Hi Smuggers,
How can I sync photos between iPad and iphone? It does not appear to take place automatically. In settings on iphone, transfer to Mac or PC is enabled but no reference to iphone.
Advice would be appreciated.

If you have iCloud Photos switched on on both devices in the Photos settings in the Settings app then this should happen automatically

That is what I thought.  But they don’t sync.  Any suggestions how I can make them sync?

It might be that you are very low on iCloud space that stops this. But I’d try restarting your devices first to see if this an iOS oddity.

I’d also check that you can see the photos by logging in to iCloud.com. From what you say this should be so but who knows. I’d also try switching off then on the iCloud photos feature in Settings.
