Good morning Smuggers

I just came across this, which you may find useful – I certainly did!

Cheers,
Derek

For those of us who have to design with application screenshots... improvements in Mac OS (as of Mojave) let you choose where your screenshots are saved besides dumping to the desktop (a messy practice). Previously, you had to do some Terminal command work. This is great!

To change where your screenshots get saved, Mac OS.

1. Press Command + Shift + 5.
2. Click on Options (at the bottom of the screenshot area).
3. You can choose any of the listed frequently-accessed folders or choose your own by clicking on “Other Location.”
4. Navigate to and select a folder where you want your screenshots to be saved.
5. From now on all of your screenshots will be saved to your specified location.

Thanks Derek. That's very useful.

Do you also know how to choose where one's scanned items get saved? Mine always open a new email and plonk it right at the top. I would prefer to write a short explanation first, and then add the scanned item.
