Evernote alternative

Hi folks. I've used it for years, but I've now decided that I'm to ditch Evernote.
Has anyone else done this and what did you switch to?

I used to use Evernote, but haven’t for a long time. 

I also think that Apple Notes is really good & free. I use it for everything & it syncs easily in iCloud.

Another vote for Apple’s Notes app. Syncs with iCloud and one can also lock notes which is useful.

Another 👍 for Apple Notes. 

I think it’s a deceptively simple app. Apple have added a slew of features over the years which mean that you can still just use it to add simple notes in the most basic manner if that’s all you need or nest them in multiple folders , add tags, smart folders, images, links to other notes and much more if you really want.

I think it’s great and keeps its features well out of the way if you don’t need them.

I’ve taken a look, run a couple of test export/imports and can see that Apple Notes will be perfect.
