Hi lovely SMUGgers,

I hope you are all well and safe in these strange times.

I’m having a strange time myself with my external disk. As you can see from my screenshots, I have a single HFS+ disk divided into three partitions attached to my Airport. I want to remove ‘Photo Vault’ and expand ‘Past Times’ (will require a reformat I know). The problem is that Disk Utility will not show me the external disk so I’m stuck!

I assume that must have used in the first place to format and partition the disk. Time Machine has been backing up to one of the partitions for years.

What obvious thing am I missing? Any help appreciated.

Regards,

Stephen

Are you sure that it's not a "large problem" with government policy?

That would be controlled by the Airport Utility. Disk Utility only shows directly connected storage drives, Airport is technically a server on the network.
