Location of MacOS delta files

Where do Apple file the delta and full files for update to MacOS as they used to do.

From what I can see at the moment one has to use the method via the Software Update where one can only download the full release and not the delta release fiiles only.

I think I read somewhere that apple aren’t releasing delta upgrades for Big Sur, only App Store/Software Update-based downloads

OK Thanks -- it means I have to do a full download and install of the full release - thanks Apple for being so user friendly
