Morning Smuggers

My partner’s trusty old 2012 MacBook Pro has finally died. Who’s a good reliable and competitive source of used/refurb MacBooks these days?

Any recommendations?

Thanks
Phil

Hoxtonmacs.co.uk are very good, or eBay.

I’m now selling my 2016 15” MacBook Pro with 500GB Storage, 16GB RAM and 4GB graphics card, if you (or anyone else is interested). I’ve got it on eBay for £860 but am open to offers!

FWIW, I always use CeX (with the confusing website uk.webuy.com) to both buy
and sell phones and laptops.

They appear to be an honest company, as far as I can tell their business plan
is based on offering a decent service to customers rather than on ripping them
off; they offer a 24 month warranty (which I've used several times and it
works); if you order from the website, they deliver often the next day, and
within 14 days you can return it for any reason - including to your nearest
shop - which is incredibly convenient.

My £0.02.

I second this. Have bought twice from them in Folkestone and brilliant service. Recommended them just today in fact.

I third this! Bought both online and in store (iPhones and iPads), and always been great. Presumably not quite the 'refurb' or specialism of Hoxton? And I'm a little concerned they can't easily check the provenance of an unboxed iDevice that someone brings in for cash - but here's hoping....
