Greetings I have recently installed Catalina and my protection screwed quite a few of my programs. I removed and my programs started working properly again. So my question is (I don’t mind paying if I have to, although my preference is not to) what do you believe is going to work with Catalina. Oh and I have Firewall on.

Thanks, Peter

Can you be more specific about the programs which aren’t working and any error messages?

Hi Sam they jammed up would not launch.  Mail would not function (load) properly nor did mail.  I removed it.  It was called MalwareBytes. Once removed no problems at all.

This is an interesting topic. I haven’t installed Catalina yet. I use Malwarebytes. How about installing it again and seeing if the problem reoccurs?

Good wishes,
Phil

I installed Catalina on a Mac Mini with Malwarebytes Pro already installed and had no problem.
