Catalina/Big Sur on Fusion Drive

Hello everyone

Read the Very Slow Laptop thread and wondering if anybody else has updated a Fusion Drive to Catalina (or plans to do so with Big Sur).

We're on Mojave and performance is fine, (2019 5k 27" iMac) and hoping others might confirm it'll play nice with Catalina onwards? Eventually I'm not averse to strapping external SSD to the stand, but hopefully not yet?

I updated my fusion drive iMac some time ago and have been running Catalina and all its updates happily. Good luck with yours!
