Morning all, it’s sunny in Brighton at last.

Wonder if anybody can help with this weirdness….

Apple Mail (on an Intel Mac Mini running 13.6.4) has suddenly started not displaying email image content (like it does with junk mail). Instead, it displays a message across the top of emails saying, “Your network preferences prevent content from loading privately”. Now, not only do I not really know what that means (“privately”? Eh?), I’ve changed nothing in the network preferences - well nothing I’m aware of. Only thing that has happened recently is the Mac’s had a coupe of unexpected complete  crashes and restarts (again, for reasons unknown).

Thoughts anybody?

Cheers

I have a similar problem on my M1 Mac mini running 15.3.1.
Private relay is off. I am running two accounts through Mail, a Google and an iCloud, both inboxes are affected. It is not a problem it’s just a different behaviour.
I am not sure since when but certainly since a recent os update.

Clearly murky

Steve
