Good morning Smuggers

The forthcoming Mac OS,  Ventura, looks good!

What do people think will be most useful?

I agree. It does look good. It is moving more towards the late, much lamented Eudora. I used to use “Scheduled send” a lot, reviewing (and often deleting) my emails at the end of the day.

I expect Stage Manager, Improved Mail Search and Spotlight enhancements, passkeys, Freeform (though I currently use Muse (museapp.com) which is similar, interesting to "compare and contrast”). The filter changes to Notes look to be useful.

Yes indeed, Ventura looks a decent update, iOS and iPadOS also bringing some quite significant and exciting changes.

I hope they resolve some of the Ventura UI glitches before release --> https://twitter.com/nikitonsky/status/1557357661171204098

I've always had one of those annoying eyes that spots the little glitches and tweaks like that. macOS has historically been really quite polished compared to Windows et al, so I hope they keep that going as it makes for a much nicer experience for those of us on it so much of every day.

Hope you've all had a good summer thus far.

Adam

p.s. Stephen, I always read your sub-signature one liners and especially enjoyed the latest joke ;)

Oh and in proper reply to your question, Derek, I think delayed send in Mail and marking Unread in Messages, shared photo library in Photos will be great.

I'll enjoy trying out Continuity Camera (albeit is that a concession their built in webcams are poor?), Freeform looks interesting and enjoyable to use, whilst I'll wait and see what I think of the new Switch Between Apps in real world use (as opposed to using both Cmd-Tab and Alfred App etc).

Late to the party here - I missed this on holiday and then on return!

Thanks Adam, you only get them when I email from my Mac as sadly the iPad is stuck to one signature per account. 😞 Glad you enjoy them.
