Morning all

Hope that wasn't summer?!

I regularly use the keyboard command 'Cmd ~' to navigate an App's open windows.
In the past, rather than cycle through them all in the same order, it would cycle back and forth from the two you most recently used - which was very helpful.

Now (Catalina) I find it just goes through them ALL in the same order, which is a total bore and very unhelpful.

I can only think I'm missing a tweak and now doing it incorrectly?

Anybody know, please?!

Thanks

Adam

Doing the same for me in Big Sur. cmd+Tab still cycles between the two recently active applications, but cycling through windows appears now to be in-order

What happens if you add Alt to the key chord?

(I don't have a Mac handy, to test.)

alt does nothing, shift reverses the order

Alt adds nothing,

A user on Apple Forum speaks of Merge all Windows for a Tab view, browseresque, but the key combo to go back and forth is horrid.

Broken historic feature? It really is silly if so!
