Hello everyone

Insurance money has come through, so I can now replace my pinched MBPro.

Is it possible to restore from TimeMachine but excluding my Photos Library? It's huge, and I won't need them on my new MBPro as they're safely stowed elsewhere now.

I did Google it, but prefer the friendly and helpful replies from SMUGGERS!

Thanks folks

Adam

You can migrate (not restore) from your TimeMachine Backup then customise what’s migrated, unticking the Photos folder. Switch the Mac on and select to migrate from a TimeMachine backup.

Thanks Sam.

Does migration include everything else eg. all apps, logins and enabling me to essentially carry on from where I left off?

Thanks
