Hi there

I've got True Tone switched on but I find that it rather crunches through the gears, as it were. It often comes across as if the screen is flickering. I thought it should much more smoothly adjust the white point.

It's not exactly a flicker, but it's not subtle or elegant and very noticeable.

Is that right? I can't find other negative reviews online so wonder if mine is misbehaving?

Does it change if you change the angle of the screen? Could be a faulty flex cable maybe?

Hmmm, will keep an eye.

Sat here tonight in lamplight by the fire, it's constant and fine.

Earlier today in daylight, it was irritating to say the least with a very obvious colour shift (rather like the warm-to-cool shift in the Display Colour Temperature settings) Moving the screen angle didn't change anything.

I'll keep an eye on it.

Thanks
