Dear all--

Thank you to everyone who attended our joint session with SEM Improvisation during the New Orleans conference. The meeting minutes have been posted on our website: https://sites.google.com/site/smtimprovisation/smt2012.

I am happy to report that progress has been made on one of the ideas suggested during the meeting. Our website now links to a bibliography and two enormous research collections on improvisation and jazz: https://sites.google.com/site/smtimprovisation/resources. I hope that SMT Improvisation will begin work on its own bibliography or research collection in the years to come.
