SMT 2025: Morgan Deters Travel Award

Dear SMT-Community,

We have funding to help students to travel to the SMT workshop. The Morgan Deters Travel Award was created to honor the memory of Morgan Deters, for his contributions to the theory and practice of SMT. The award is intended to enable selected students to attend the SMT workshop by partially covering their workshop-related expenses. While preference will be given to students who will play an active role in the workshop, students who do not expect to give presentations, including students who have just begun their research, or are considering the field, are encouraged to apply.

The application should include a short recommendation letter written by the student's supervisor.  There will be a form to apply on our website later.

We are closing the application for the Morgan Deters Travel Award on Friday.  If you plan to apply, but haven't yet, please do so soon.  We would also need the recommendation letter by that date.  We plan to give you the decision by Monday next week.
