radhillah anhu : may allah accept his deeds

salaihu allai hu wasalam : may allah increase the honour of the prophet and protect his nation from which he fears for it

Tq Musu. I think u may have left out a few letters in this expression "radhillah anhu". It does't sound rite. Shudn't it be "radhiallahu anhu".

Notice how short the arab words are when comparing to the number of english words with the same meaning, indicating the superiority of the arabic language.

That is a deep observation Naim. I've heard it from my arabic teacher when I was trying to learn that language in my surau a couple yrs ago. On having known d challenge, I had to quit.

My comments - The translation that we are used to and which I think is the correct one is "There is no God but Allah and Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah".

Maybe for my case it was a clear typo error but I don't think so for what Naim pointed out.

Talking about translation, the word "rahim" has always been wrongly translated as "penyayang" in BM. Even ustazs translate the bismillah as "dengan nama Allah yg maha pengasih lagi maha penyayang". The translation for the word down there is correct, which is "merciful" which actually translate to "pengasihani".

Btw, there is nothing to forgive Musu.
