Saudara / Saudari, Pertama sekali abang Perdana Menteri kita ia itu Ibrahim bin Badawi menerusi syarikatnya SkyChef menjadi supplier makanan kepada syarikat penerbangan MAS yang sekarang mengalami kerugian RM900 juta untuk sembilan bulan pertama 2005. Abang PM kita jual sebotol air mineral kepada MAS dengan harga RM30 setiap botol. Kenapa kita hairan MAS rugi ? Menteri Besar terengganu Idris Jusoh telah mengadakan lumba kapal layar Monsoon Cup yang menelan duit rakyat sebanyak RM300.0 Juta. Duit ini di bayar kepada seorang taukeh bernama Patrick Lim dan kekawannya termasuk Khairy Jamaludin menantu Perdana Menteri. Perlumbaan kapal layar tak sampai lima hari makan duit rakyat RM300.0 Juta. Sudah tentu duit RM300.0 Juta itu ditelan oleh orang yang sungguh bertuah dapat kontrak RM300.0 Juta itu. Untuk menutup kehilangan duit sebesar ini sekarang sabsidi minyak di potong dan harga minyak nail 30 sen satu liter. Telekom Malaysia pula rugi lebih RM700 Juta duit rakyat sebab terpaksa bayar ganti rugi kepada syarikat telekom German ia itu Deutsche Telekom.. Terpaksa bayar ganti rugi RM700 Juta sebab Telekom Malaysia tak tahu buat kontrak. Nak tutup rugi ini pula kerajaan potong sabsidi minyak. Sekarang lebih murah naik kapalterbang Air Asia pergi balik dari Kuala Lumpur ke Kuala Terengganu. Tambang pergi balik Air Asia dari Kuala Lumpur ke Kuala Terengganu tak sampai RM300 bagi tiga orang sekeluarga. Air Asia diurus oleh orang yang tidak rasuah dan yang tahu buat bisnes tanpa menyusahkan rakyat. Sekarang dengan harga minyak yang sudah naik, belanja minyak sahaja nak pergi balik dari Kuala Lumpur ke Alor Setar sudah naik hingga RM220 (kereta Proton Waja). Bayar tol pula lebih RM120. Belanja makan dan minum (nasi campur dan teh kosong) bagi sekeluarga enam orang tambah lagi RM40. Ini bermaksud jumlah belanja minyak, tol dan makan minum pergi balik dari Kuala Lumpur ke Alor Setar hampir RM400. Negeri lain bukan macam negara kita. Walaupun harga minyak di Thailand lebih mahal daripada harga minyak di Malaysia tapi di Thailand tak ada bayar tol. Dari Bukit Kayu Hitam ke Bangkok jauhnya lebih 1,100 batu (bukan kilometer) naik lebuhraya enam lorong tanpa bayar TOL (bukan empat lorong macam Lebuhraya Utara Selatan kita). Di Thailand tak ada rasuah AP. Harga kereta Honda Civic 1.5 di Thailand tak sampai RM40,000. Lebih murah daripada harga kereta Perodua Kelisa 1.0 di Malaysia. Inilah kelebihannya di Thailand - tak ada AP di sana . Di Malaysia pula ada AP. Sebenarnya harga AP yang perlu di bayar kepada Kerajaan (MITI) tak sampai RM250 sahaja. Tapi AP boleh di jual sehingga RM40,000 sekeping kepada Dato Dato yang kaya yang di kenal sebagai "AP King". Rasuah AP ini telah berlanjutan selama lebih 30 tahun. Akhir kata rakyat Malaysia yang terpaksa tanggung rasuah AP ini. Oleh yang demikian kereta Honda Civic 1.5 yang dijual dengan harga RM40,000 di Thailand naik harga sehingga RM110,000 di Malaysia. Rakyat Malaysia rugi. Kerajaan pun hilang wang. Bila kerajaan tak cukup wang - maka potonglah subsidi minyak. Maka naik lah harga minyak 30 sen satu liter.   on top of that ... still want to send 2 "fan cheong" to angkasa. Untuk apa ya ???? minum teh tarik ka ??      Malaysia Boleh!!!! Sekian. Untuk kekawan yang suka berfikir, fikirkan lah, sebelum 1990, saya sekeluarga hanya ada sebuah kereta untuk ke tempat kerja & ke sekolah, sekarang tahun 2007 terpaksa ada 3 + 1 kereta untuk masing2 ke tempat kerja & ke universiti, saya pasti kebanyakan di antara kita pon begitu jugak. Saya tak pandai ekonomi tapi yang saya tahu kalu demand lebih tinggi dari supply ie petrol, pasti harganya meningkat, apatah lagi kalu mengambil kira keadaan poltik dunia dsb.  We are neither stupid nor illogical. Aku duduk di Kuala Terengganu la ni.  Since dah mention about the Monsoon Cup tu, aku nak jemput sesiapa yang sudi utk dtg sini dan lihat sendiri pembaziran yang dibuat.  Last year they bought BMW 3 series as the official car but after the event, the cars were driven by individuals..(guess what price it was being sold - mestlila dirt cheap!!).  This year entah kereta apa pulak depa nak guna.

Mmg lah bila demand exceed supply, harganya akan naik. Tapi kita kena ingat we are also an oil-producing country. We r a net exporter of oil. So we cud gain a lot for the higher oil prices. By right (if the govt wants) we can continue with the subsidy, for the sake of minimising the inflation and reducing the hardship faced by the people.

 

Of course now, the govt is unable to do that, bcos we had sold the oil many2 years ago at a price abt half what it is tday. They needed the money then to support the mega projects, especially the PutraJaya and CyberJaya. I don't know what u call it, but to me it is simply "menggadai negara dan bangsa". So much for having the visionary leaders like TDM.

 

I still remember the former trade minister (Abu Hasan Omar) with the slogan "inflasi sifar". Then he bacame Selangor Mentri Besar. Now with the new mentri besar, we have another "sifar". But this time "pembangkang" sifar. How ridiculous. He might as well just paint the flag red and declare Selangor a communist state.

this is a closed 'open forum' among us. i believe everyone is free to express his/her ideas. we should not take them personally.we are very thankful that you are willing to share your views with all of us. we too have to be astutely judicous in expressing our views taking into considerations the reality. i totally agree with you that our vote is discreet but we have to be honest to ourselves for our choice of candidates because they are the ones to determine the future of our kids. as i said the present ones are going from ok to bad to worse and many of them need to be checkmated.  

 

the problem now is that the present ruling coalition team is very strong and on contrarary the oppositions are otherwise. personally i see things are getting from bad to worse and the state of our nation is near pathetic. again, as i mentioned earlier, the only way to make the present ruling team realise and stop future damages is to have many more 'rakyat voices' in the parliament, i.e. to reduce the majority of the 'sure-to-win team'.

finally, i wish everyone of us can easily make our choice for the team to govern our nation. sadly it's not and it's getting more difficult nowadays. how i wish this is a true muslim nation. it is a nation where the melayu stand united. it is the nation where our children we grow up safely to become good humans. the way i look at it, it's not going to happen that way but let us all pray to Almightly Allah swt that our wishes will be grated. AMIN.

But what u said abt DSAI, I agree. Even when the opposition takes over (which I don't think so) they cannot do much with the oil price and eventually the petrol pump price. It is just another hollow promise by a shrewd politician. The problem is, that is the only kind of promises most voters can relate to. To me, to provide the check and balance necessary for a true democracy is more important. The rest will fall in place when the rule of law is in place.

yes, agree that we are not stupid.
i have been mingling around with few top echelon umno people and sad to say, many of them are using 'bangsa melayu' & 'agama islam' to their advantages. many of the young ones are precipitiously sheer rubbish and a disgrace to islam, melayu and nation. as i said, i am not against any party(ies) in particluar but the individuals. dolefully, the numbers are increasing. unfortunately, these individuals are in the leader pack of the nation i.e. barisan nasional i.e umno, and so it's natural that umno gets the bashing.

however, as much as we do hate the present ruling coalition, one must not by any means become like one of them. one must be very rationally realistic in one's ideas and thoughts. take an example, will dsai be able to reduce the price of petrol and toll rates as he claimed? personally i don't think so. there are various factors contributing to oil price hike and it's definitely not politics alone. you are an economist and social observer and i am sure you know more than us. as a citizen, i assuredly welcome dsai's initiative but realistically it's not easy. as i said, i am not against party(ies) but we have to be realistic in our actions.

this is a closed 'open forum' among us. i believe everyone is free to express his/her ideas. we should not take them personally.we are very thankful that you are willing to share your views with all of us. we too have to be astutely judicous in expressing our views taking into considerations the reality. i totally agree with you that our vote is discreet but we have to be honest to ourselves for our choice of candidates because they are the ones to determine the future of our kids. as i said the present ones are going from ok to bad to worse and many of them need to be checkmated.  

 

the problem now is that the present ruling coalition team is very strong and on contrarary the oppositions are otherwise. personally i see things are getting from bad to worse and the state of our nation is near pathetic. again, as i mentioned earlier, the only way to make the present ruling team realise and stop future damages is to have many more 'rakyat voices' in the parliament, i.e. to reduce the majority of the 'sure-to-win team'.

finally, i wish everyone of us can easily make our choice for the team to govern our nation. sadly it's not and it's getting more difficult nowadays. how i wish this is a true muslim nation. it is a nation where the melayu stand united. it is the nation where our children we grow up safely to become good humans. the way i look at it, it's not going to happen that way but let us all pray to Almightly Allah swt that our wishes will be grated. AMIN.

Hang dah kaya takpa la undi UMNO. Macam aku ni... dulu kerap juga pi kerja bawa kereta. Bila
