Individual notifications don't work!

Anyone can help with this?

I'm using sms popup on Nexus 1, and have my system notifications
disabled, sms popup notif. enabled, and when I disable notification
for a single contact (no popup, no notification) it still goes
through!

I get the sound and a popup!

Anyone with an idea?
