Dear Maruxa

I would be very grateful if you could let the SmS group know about next week’s Media Skills training course with Eric May. As you know this course was very successful last year which is why we are repeating it again this year.

This course offers one day intensive training in all aspects of responding to the press: from writing press releases, responding to telephone interviews and being interviewed on camera.

People can register on the Intervals website, download the course outline and visit Eric May’s personal web site:

http://www.prbb.org/intervals/courses/course/3

There are also still a few places left on the Visual Story Telling, Film making course http://www.prbb.org/intervals/courses/course/15 too .. people should register as soon as possible and send a paragraph with their film idea to inte...@prbb.org

Eric May is a world class trainer who previously worked for many years in American television and won an Emmy award (broadcast industry’s highest award) for his film making.

Eric’s courses are excellent, fun  AND FREE of charge to PRBB residents - so this is an unmissable opportunity!

I am also attaching an article from this week’s Science which emphasiszes that even Barack Obama realises the need for responsible citizen scientists who know how to engage with the public!

Please can you spread the word

Many thanks

Elinor
