Regarding Mar 10, 2013 Ramanuj Prof visit to Bangalore Jayanagar center. We have discussed the plan in my earlier below mail.


1. All will join in Jayanagar branch on 10 March 2013 at 12 pm to 12.30 pm. Folks from other center pl ensure you reach by 12-12.30 pm.

2.Sir will come to Jayanagar center at 12 pm.

3. We can go to lunch above Jayanagar center. We have booked Ferghana Terrace for SMP 09 restaurant . This will be self sponsored + Prof share will be divided by all.

Enclosed is the menu. You can send me your veg / non veg booking. We plan to book on 9 March 2013 to avoid delays. We can even plan for Amoeba bowling.

4. We have collected Rs 5000/-. Short listed items are Titan watch/Cauvery emporium gift article. Kindly pour in your suggestions to buy Titan watch/ Cauvery emporium gift article by Thursday. Friday I am planning to buy gift item.

Good initiative Meera, we need to leverage SMP to the max. We only have another 6-7 months in the programme  and this is the right time to start leveraging our network for the benefit of our careers / business opportunities.

I am in for both, let us start brainstorming of ideas with like minded group members.

Good idea Chetan, persuading IIMC to promote SMP on their website will provide us great opportunities and networking with the larger IIM alumni group.

Let us discuss this after next saturdays class and start pursuing IIMC on this.....

If point above is a no go, start our own site similar to FB / Linked in, where we show the career path of each individual post this course. Am sure some of us will have contacts with VCs, should we agree to go down that route (I know a couple) This will also need to be incorporated with clear shareholding established. Not very expensive.

Re the second point, if all can list down their aspirations for career objectives and target companies, it'll make the collaboration on assisted job searches more finite and focused.

The last point, we should allocate an hour or so after most classes to debate these points and if we all agree, project plans and progress review.

All, lets discuss these next Sat and jointly agree, or otherwise.
