Hello,

I have been trying to get a hold of panucatt but it is impossible, can someone give me a hand here. I am trying to wire a set of teknic motors my friend gave me to the Azteeg X5 gt board. Just want to make sure the wiring is ok. Model CPM-SDSK-2311S-RLN

Attached is a picture, Thank you for your time and help

No do not bond signal ground to power ground.
Your grey wiring from the signal connector should be connected to the same ground pin in the boards pin row as the other signals (step, dir, enable).
Most every driver is onto-isolated, so again, absolutely zero reason to connect as drawn and connecting as drawn you run serious risk of ground loops and other issues.

Thank you so much! there is no need for a 5V connection right?

No, 5V is not required.

Hello everyone,

One more question I forgot to ask, can both motors be wired to the same pins? to drive a dual X?

You might need a level shifter inbetween then, check the LPC1769 for th current rating of the pins

Hello everyone,

SInce my friend never gave me the motors I had to save up to buy them.

I have finally got them, wired, auto-tuned and everything worked fine. Unfortunately once I wire to the Azteeg board I am unable to communicate with the motors. do I have to change anything in the firmware or activate any feature on the teknic software?

Thank you in advance for any help
