Unknown host repository.codehaus.org

I'm trying to build smooks EDI Java Compiler, but I get the following error:

[ERROR] Failed to execute goal on project milyn-smooks-ejc: Could not resolve de
pendencies for project org.milyn:milyn-smooks-ejc:bundle:1.7.1-SNAPSHOT: Failed
to collect dependencies at org.milyn:milyn-smooks-javabean:jar:1.7.1-SNAPSHOT: F
ailed to read artifact descriptor for org.milyn:milyn-smooks-javabean:jar:1.7.1-
SNAPSHOT: Could not transfer artifact org.milyn:milyn-smooks-javabean:pom:1.7.1-
SNAPSHOT from/to mvel (http://repository.codehaus.org): repository.codehaus.org:
 Unknown host repository.codehaus.org -> [Help 1]

Upon closer inspection, I found this information: https://support.sonatype.com/hc/en-us/articles/217611787-codehaus-org-Repositories-Should-Be-Removed-From-Your-Nexus-Instance

Is anybody working on fixing this build issue?

How are you building it? It sounds as though you're not building from the root of the project, but instead cd'ing into a sub-directory and running from there. That will not work if you have never built the current version. As you can see from the CI builds, the project is building fine.

When you say build current version does that mean root of the directory? but that root of directory doesn't have pom.xml then how to build it?
