Smooks Dual License Proposal: Apache License 2.0 & LGPLv3

Attention to all Smooks code contributors,

We have contacted you privately to prepare for this moment.

As part of our efforts to breath new life into Smooks, Tom Fennelly and I are proposing that Smooks's license is updated from LGPLv2.1 to LGPLv3 and dual-licensed with Apache License 2.0. This license change keeps Smooks opens source while adopting a permissive stance to modifications.

We now need the explicit consent from each and every one of you to legally alter the license without rewriting any code. Replying to all in this thread with a simple "Yes" or "No" will suffice.
