Meet our partners, Bootie Mashup! DCD teams up with the Bootie Mashup DJs on Twitch to bring you dance parties all weekend long! Spinning the best mashups in the world ever, Bootie Mashup was launched in San Francisco in 2003, shamelessly mixing and matching pop songs both throwback and current. With its creative theme parties and clever mashup formula, Bootie Mashup has been winning numerous nightlife awards in multiple cities for over 15 years. Its fun, danceable song combinations are the soundtrack for the A.D.D. generation.

Announced on February 23, 2011, the album contains nine remixes, including featured appearances from André 3000 and 3OH!3, and one previously unreleased track, "Fuck Him He's a DJ". According to Kesha, the album's release is intended to be a play on her party girl image; her image is commonly perceived as being drunk when in actuality her lifestyle is about enjoying life and having fun no matter what the circumstances. The album is composed of electronic and dance-pop songs.

The album is an electronic album that draws influence from the dance-pop genre. "The Sleazy Remix" features rapper André 3000, who raps over the song's "bouncy thump" beat talking about a young child dealing with his deadbeat father, "We start out so cute in our baby pictures/ That mama shot for our daddy so that he wouldn't forget you/ He forgot anyway, but hey, one day he'll remember/ If not, he's human, I'm human, you human, we'll forgive him." André then transitions into a rap about his relationship with Kesha before she takes over the rest of the song. Switch's remix of "Animal" features "squealing electronic flourishes" similar to his contribution to British rapper M.I.A.'s "Steppin' Up", turning the originally upbeat track into an "eerie, echoey lament".

"We are so excited to expand our entertainment team focused on teaching and building confidence in the next generation of dancers in the region," said Joey Colby-Begovich, Washington Commanders Vice President of Guest Experience. "Since its inception, whether it be community events or away game watch parties, the Command Force has worked to bring a unique kind of fun and energy to the DMV that extends far beyond the stadium sidelines. The establishment of Junior Force will be yet another way for the team to give back and make a positive impact in our community."

Junior Force members will learn performance fundamentals during monthly clinics led by members of the Command Force and have the special opportunity to perform at the team's preseason game versus the Cincinnati Bengals on August 26 and the team's Week 18 matchup versus the Dallas Cowboys, date TBC. Registration is open and will close on August 1. Clinics will take place on Sunday afternoon at FedExField or OrthoVirginia Training Center at Commanders Park. Tuition is $375 and covers seven months of instruction, two tickets to attend each gameday performance, as well as the opportunity to purchase additional tickets at a discounted rate. The Washington Commanders Charitable Foundation is pleased to offer a number of financial need-based scholarships to participate in the program. Please contact Junio...@commanders.com if interested in applying for a scholarship. Commanders Season Ticket Holders can receive a discount for children they enroll in camp by reaching out to Junio...@commanders.com.

For dancers looking for a more condensed time commitment and experience, the Command Force is excited to offer their second annual Junior Force dance summer camp on the weekend of July 15 and 16 at FedExField. Dancers will have the opportunity to learn a variety of routines, including freestyle, across the floor, NFL sideline routines, and hip-hop dances tailored to their age and skill level. Summer Dance Camp spans two days and is divided into three age groups (Ages 5-8, 9-12, 13-17), ensuring personalized attention from our talented instructors.

What is of concern - at least based on those excerpts that have leaked thus far - is that the president gets pushed around by the generals. And that impression feeds into the larger one that Barack Obama is not quite the commander in chief. He seems far more concerned with being politically savvy than with winning "the good war."

How's that? We tell the enemy when we're leaving so the party base doesn't get upset? Well, of course, public opinion matters in war, as in all things. But a commander in chief at least ought to know what he's fighting for and why he's asking Americans to risk their lives. If it's not a good enough reason to warrant victory, then maybe it isn't any longer a good war.

We all want a thoughtful president. As few Democrats tire of reminding us, America and the world have had quite enough of cowboys. But surely we can settle on a commander who is neither a gunslinger nor a chalk-dusted harrumpher. Surely the twain can meet.

In Berlin, UNRRA Chief Fiorello H. LaGuardiawent into another song & dance. Irked by questions about U.S.contributions to UNRRA, he asked Chicago Tribune Correspondent HalFoust why he continued to work for a "lousy, stinking, disreputable anduntruthful newspaper." He parried queries about his political ambitionsby calling himself "just a political displaced person."
