ok if the skylight served something as tasty as this would make it a
stop on our trip in March--just a cup of cornmeal(no leavening), a
spoonful of flour and salt and boiling water to make a dough--fried
'till crispy--thought it was great but once again the only one

It’s a “traditional” flavor and one that needs to be appreciated as such. It’s what they made before they experimented a little bit and found “flavor”.  I like it, and appreciate it.

yup, that's what caught my eye and I can't wait to try it.  I saw the literal warmth in the guy's eye who described breaking it open to see the steam come off and the crispy buttery outer layer.  Can always toss some honey on it a bite at a time if 'needed'!
