Update: Council passed exemption

SMOKEFREE DC UPDATE 

Just an update to let you know that the D.C. Council today passed the exemption to the smokefree workplaces law. The only good news is that we - with your help - managed to get it narrowed from 79 hotels to 25 hotels and now to just two events annually.

It's still enormously problematic that the Council did this without going through the committee process and that the Council made the exemption permanent.
