Seed Exchange at the Farmhouse
Instead of sitting on the couch daydreaming about what to plant this spring, daydream your garden layout with other gardeners. There will be a few catalogs to browse through and a chance to ask and answer garden questions. Take some time to dig through your shoebox of seeds and bring some to share. If you have any catalogs, bring them along too. There are discounts for larger orders—we’ve ordered from Fedco Seed Company and Seed Savers in the past.
If you plan on starting seedlings at home, now is the time to order! March 15th is about the time to start your plants with long growing seasons, such as tomatoes.
