Android Hybrid Applications Course - Final Project

Overview

You should develop an hybrid application for the android platform. Your application can limit itself for Android mobile telephones and it should include components from the list presented below. Your application can be either a 'Coupons Application' as described below or any other idea approved in advance. In addition, a wordpress based web site should provide the end user with a link to download the application together with  short tutorials, screenshots... and any other information related to the application. 

Coupons Application

This application should display coupons in according with the geographic location of the user. All coupons data should be organized in a database. There is no need in developing a web interface through which businesses will add/update their coupons.

Android Java Code - 10pts

Basic PHP Code - 30pts

PHP Sessions Management - 10pts

PHP and MySQL - 20pts

jQuery Mobile - 20pts

Code in HTML5  - 10pts 

Ajax Implementation - 10pts

Usage of PhoneGap - 10pts

User Submits Form - 10pts

Final Mark Calculation

Total pts for the application components will be multiplied by a factor that includes the following ingredients:

0.4 - functionality

0.1 - documentation

0.2 - usability

0.2 - code efficiency 

0.1 - web site
