Simplified body size, optimized 83-key layout, retains the complete keyboard function, while the appearance is still compact, beautiful, and practical, both in appearance and user experience are quite excellent.

The IQUNIX Tilly 60 is a 60% layout gasket-mounted mechanical keyboard DIY kit available in two case colors and layout options. The aluminum case is available in either silver or black and the layouts are HHKB and WK layouts. What is the difference? According to IQUNIX:

But the block also doubles as a small storage area with a cover that lifts off. I suppose that you could use this space to hold little tools or items that you use infrequently but would like to have nearby for those times when you do use them. Items that come to mind are SIM eject tools, a tiny flashlight, knife, etc.

My building adventure did run into a few speedbumps, which started with the fact that this kit does not come with ANY instructions whatsoever. Google and YouTube helped me find a few videos that helped me through the assembly process. Thanks go out to the videos from Mad Mod Labs and TAZAKEY.

I ran into another stopping point when it came to installing the stabilizers (stabs for short). I had to find a couple of videos to explain putting the stabs together correctly, lubing, and installing the wires.

The included keycaps seemed a little boring compared to the look of the keyboard case, but the end result is a nice looking keyboard. Note: IQUNIX also offers a set of black tangerine keycaps which I think would look awesome on this keyboard.

It is considered a 96% layout and features 100 keys. While most mainstream mechanical keyboards have a bunch of separation between the keys, and in particular the numpad and arrow keys, the F96 pulls the keys together into a tight and ergonomic design. This makes the keyboard more of a pleasure to type with once you adjust to its layout.

When it comes to mechanical keyboards, there are many switch types. The switches are one of the most important components of a mechanical keyboard as they affect the input of the keys. Each switch profile has its own characteristics. My previous keyboard had blue switches, which had an extra loud and clicky sound as I pounded the keys. Blue switches can be music to the ears for typing asmr lovers, but the problem comes when you want to be able to type late at night when others are sleeping. Blue switches can be heard from rooms away. In fact, people in my house could hear me typing away from downstairs while I was sat upstairs in my room.

The best thing about this is that when you buy an F96 from the official IQUNIX website, they give you a choice of which switches you would like in your keyboard. Some of their smaller keyboard models are even hot-swappable, which allow you to change the switch profile at your own leisure.

To put this into perspective, you could use the keyboard on your main desktop setup while having your iPad on the side at the same time. You could do a quick Google search on your iPad, using the F96 and then type up your notes on your main computer. And if someone should text you at that very moment on your iPhone, you could respond to them again using the F96.

The F96 may not be hot-swappable, but If you wanted to dabble in the world of switch swapping then IQUNIX has the 80 series of keyboards. But I recommend doing your homework on hot-swappable keyboards ahead of time.

As someone who enjoys typing up blogs, books and other creative work, the IQUNIX F96 has served me well these past few months. It still makes me excited to type each and every day. And the fact that I can freshen things up with new keycap color schemes is an exciting aspect.

IQUNIX F96 is undoubtedly the most competitive in the market of mechanical keyboard. Whether in work or life, the use of a mechanical keyboard can make your fingertips enjoyable and enhance pleasure. Having a mechanical keyboard does enjoy much of fun.

With backlight version of red axis bluetooth dualmode RGB, the aluminum alloy frame of the entire keyboard is in dark blue, and the keycaps are mainly white, embellished with blue and orange.

The F96 keyboard is 96% in size and has 100 keys. All keys are in a compact and orderly arrangement. These colourful keycaps not only give you a pleased visual experience, but also split the functional keyboard area. The functional partition is distinctive although the keyboard is in small size.

IQUNIX F96 can simultaneously support 3 devices. You can quickly switch the device with pressing FN and the corresponding number. The keyboard can also switch between multiple devices and multiple systems at any time.

IQUNIX F96 utilizes bluetooth 4.0 with a battery capacity of 4000mA. It costs only 30% of the battery if you use it for 8-9 hours a day during a week. You can use it for 3-4 weeks when fully charged at a time.

It is worth mentioning that this keyboard can also switch layouts at any time for different operating systems. You can use it at the same time if you are working in the dual computers of Windows and Mac. Press Fn+A for five seconds to switch to the Mac layout, press Fn+I for five seconds to switch to the Windows layout, and even press Fn+Ctrl for five seconds to switch to the HHKB layout.

In short, IQUNIX F96 is an exquisite and special mechanical keyboard, which is worth using. Now you can enjoy a discounted price of $234.99 when you buy it through BGBEE, and you can get a $8 cash back after purchase.

The design continues to be interesting around the rear and bottom of the keyboard. The back edge is built with a pair of frosted panels that almost look like windows. Flipping it over, the Gravity Wave version has a solid yellow back with diagonal stripes and a graph paper-like grid for the label. The Dark Side version has the same texture but is black all around and more minimalist overall. There are also a pair of magnetic tilt feet that can be flipped around to increase the typing angle and a switch to swap between wired and 2.4GHz wireless modes.

Beneath those keycaps, the ZX75 comes with your choice of Cherry MX Blue, Red, or Brown switches, or TTC ACE, Gold Pink, or Speed Silver. The keyboard also supports hot-swapping switches, so if you have another set you would like to try, you can simply unplug the existing switch and plug in a new one.

The keyboard also comes with pre-lubed costar stabilizer and has a layer of thick foam between the switches and the PCB. Typing is rattle-free and damped enough to remove any hollowness from the sound. Acoustics matter to keyboard enthusiasts, and this keyboard delivers a satisfying sound without the need for any modding.

The ZX75 is a very good keyboard that delivers enthusiast-level features in a unique and eye-catching package. The typing experience is top-notch for a pre-built keyboard and the keycaps could easily sell on their own for a premium.

With that in mind, the ZX75 is a keyboard that needs software to replace its missing keys and currently lacks it. The iQunix A80 Explorer offers a similar layout and features and has a readily available driver, so is a solid alternative if you need remapping features. If you like the unique look but need a number pad, the iQunix F97 is the next best thing and is well worth considering.

The Super ZONEX 75 has eight colours to choose from, and is available with either a smooth or textured bottom case. The board includes an FR4 plate by default, with alternate plate materials available for separate purchase, and includes your choice of a wired solderable or hotswap PCB, or a tri-mode PCB with an ANSI or ISO layout!

The keyboard can be used on both Windows and Mac systems. To switch the keyboard layout all you have to do is press FN + A for 5 seconds to go to the Mac layout and FN + I to go to the Windows layout.

The LED on the board is actually pretty useful and I like that it is in between the keys and does not take up any other space on the keyboard. It will also light up white when you have caps lock turned on, although there is no indication when you have num lock turned on.

We also have RGB lighting on our version of the keyboard. To turn backlighting on the keyboard on or off you press FN + Z. Now there is a handful a preset effect which you can cycle through by pressing FN + Shift. Some of the effects will also allow you to change the color of the effect, you can do that by pressing FN + \. Since the keycaps do not have legends that allow the light to show through the RGB lighting is just alright, nothing to write home about.
