EMBA Reunion!

Lucky Thirteen Family,

We hope that 2017 has been filled with good fortune, great experiences and a little relaxation.

It is hard to believe, but next month will represent exactly five YEARS since we started the EMBA program together as Cohort 13. 

From breaking the ice during residency week, to learning the most important lessons in accounting ("It depends?").  Remembering to get our "shit in one sock" during role playing and the exuberance of submitting the final round of data during Biz Sim week.  We made a lot of memories and definitely learned some things about ourselves, about leadership and about each other.

In honor of our 5 year anniversary of kicking off the crazy EMBA adventure together, we thought it would be great to have a reunion.  Our proposal is to get together for a night of dinner, lively conversation and some adult beverages at the new hotel that just opened up called The Hotel at the University of Maryland.  This 4 star hotel is a dramatic improvement to the days at the Greenbelt Marriott should you choose to stay the night.  Spouses/Partners/+1 guests are also invited.  The night we are proposing is Saturday, April 14, 2018.  This is a non-EMBA class weekend, so it will not be coordinated with any academic sessions but we could invite professors if requested. 

Please RSVP (by replying to the email) to let us know if  you can join us on this the date for a Lucky 13 reunion. Let us know if you are in for dinner, if you will need lodging and how many are in your party.  Based on the responses, we'll contact The Hotel for block rates and setup dinner reservations.  If we don't have enough interest in this date, we'll try again for a date on our 5 year graduation anniversary.
