Query..Need Help urgently !

Guys,

I am an R2 admit after a waitlist. I received my admission
notification on 11 th and yesterday received an email from the
graduate school with subject Documentation Request asking for
Financial Support documents.

I have not received any Scholarship info as of yet.. Wanted to know
from you guys when did you receive schol info ?? Before or after
receiving this mail from Graduate School asking for financial support
documents ??

request you to pls respond urgently.

Hi Rahul,

Most of us received the financial support email the very next day after we received the admit email.

Recently, there were some additional scholarships awarded. 

I guess you should have already got a mail by now in case they had already decided to award you a scholarship.

There may be a chance that they may award you a schol in the future, but I suggest you not to wait for that and be prepared to show the funds for the entire amount for the first year.

will it be a good idea to write back to Smith and enquire about scholarship ? As I am pretty sure I will be able to join Smith only if I get some decent scholarship or GA/TA..

You can definitely ask them and tell them about your situation.

Many have done that already.
