"How have you stayed alive this long?!" Lionsgate has revealed one more short official US trailer for the summer action comedy The Hitman's Bodyguard, about the world's best bodyguard assigned to protect a notorious hitman who has been killing his clients all along. We've already seen plenty of trailers for this absurd comedy, but why not one more to top it off. Starring Ryan Reynolds as the bodyguard and Samuel L. Jackson as the notorious hit man named Darius Kincaid. Also featuring Gary Oldman, Salma Hayek, Elodie Yung, Joaquim de Almeida, and Sam Hazeldine. This movie might be good, just because of the dynamic between Jackson and Reynolds, but this new trailer doesn't have much to offer aside from a few jokes. All the other trailers before were much better, but I'm still looking forward to seeing this. Have fun.

Another trailer for The Hitman's Bodyguard has finally been released and promises movie-goers plenty of gags, guns and explosions. The movie sees Ryan Reynolds' bodyguard, Michael Bryce, hired to protect a hitman by the name of Darius Kincaid (Samuel L. Jackson), a man who has previously attempted to murder him a grand total of twenty eight times. Behind the camera is director Patrick Hughes and also starring are Salma Hayek, Richard E. Grant and Elodie Yung, with Gary Oldman once again on villain duty.

Having seen the effect a clever and hilarious marketing campaign can have while working on Deadpool, Reynolds' new movie has also taken an unconventional approach to promotion with a brilliant poster that recreates the original poster for Kevin Costner and Whitney Houston's The Bodyguard. The image of Samuel L. Jackson in Ryan Reynolds' arms is surely a sight to behold.

After two previous trailers, a third full promo trailer for the film has now been released online via Lionsgate Films and gives fans a good look at this action-comedy combo. The clip showcases Reynolds' cocky, brash bodyguard and highlights some thrilling key action sequences, as well as a glut of funny one-liners from the actor. Sam Jackson also seems to be on fine form - and one standout scene in the trailer sees the reluctant duo stuck traveling the countryside, in a van full of singing nuns.

After the giddy success of Deadpool, The Hitman's Bodyguard perhaps represents a return to more familiar fare for Reynolds and the actor is certainly playing to his comedic strengths in this movie. Thankfully however, it does appear that the action won't be overshadowed by the lighter moments, as the trailer's gunfights, car chases and hand-to-hand combat sequences all look expertly crafted.

It's perhaps easy to be a little skeptical about The Hitman's Bodyguard. If movies are renowned for putting their best gags in their trailer, expectations for this feature should certainly not be set too high. Furthermore, the film's premise of a reluctant duo being forced to work together in a criminal underworld setting is arguably a well-worn formula in Hollywood and you'd also be hard pressed to find a great deal of difference between Michael Bryce and any number of Ryan Reynolds' other 'funny tough guy' roles.

With that said, there's always cause to be optimistic. The Hitman's Bodyguard features a stunning main and supporting cast with tons of talent and experience and director Patrick Hughes has pedigree in the realm of light-hearted action flicks, after he took the helm of The Expendables 3. Plus, you can never write off anything with Samuel L. Jackson in it.

After the first teaser surfaced in April, Lionsgate has now unveiled a second trailer for the upcoming action-comedy The Hitman's Bodyguard, which brings Ryan Reynolds and Samuel L. Jackson together for one wild ride. Lionsgate has also released the final poster, along with two character posters featuring both the Hitman, Darius Kincaid (Samuel L. Jackson) and his reluctant Bodyguard, Michael Bryce (Ryan Reynolds). The studio has also unveiled new photos, which give us a new look at Salma Hayek's Sonia Kincaid, Darius' wife.

The world's top protection agent (Ryan Reynolds) is called upon to guard the life of his mortal enemy, one of the world's most notorious hitmen (Samuel L. Jackson). The relentless bodyguard and manipulative assassin have been on the opposite end of the bullet for years and are thrown together for a wildly outrageous 24 hours. During their raucous and hilarious adventure from England to the Hague, they encounter high-speed car chases, outlandish boat escapades and a merciless Eastern European dictator (Gary Oldman) who is out for blood. Salma Hayek joins the mayhem as Jackson's equally notorious wife.

While the first trailer and poster spoofed the 1992 classic The Bodyguard, even including the iconic Whitney Houston song "I Will Always Love You," this trailer, courtesy of Lionsgate, plays it more straight. We get more footage of Michael Bryce's handiwork as he "extracts" a different client, played by Richard E. Grant. This trailer also reveals that Darius Kincaid is the key witness in the trial of this European dictator, which is why Michael Bryce was called in to protect him. We also get a glimpse at Elodie Yung's character, who sets up this job for Bryce, seemingly unaware of their history, with Bryce telling her that Kincaid has tried to kill him 28 times.

While there is no nudity in this trailer, there is some R-rated language, so watch this footage at your own risk. The supporting cast for The Hitman's Bodyguard also includes Kirsty Mitchell, Joaquim de Almeida, Sam Hazeldine, Jos&#233phine de La Baume, Rod Hallett and Ori Pfeffer. Patrick Hughes (Red Hill, The Expendables 3) directs from a script by Tom O'Connor (Fire by Fire), which landed on the Black List in 2011. That year also featured several scripts that would ultimately be turned into hit movies, such as Django Unchained, Bad Words, Sex Tape, Saving Mr. Banks, St. Vincent and last year's The Accountant.

A year after landing on The Black List, Pierre Morel (Taken) became attached to direct this action-thriller, but he eventually parted ways with the project. Lionsgate has handed out an August 18 release date for The Hitman's Bodyguard, which could put it in position to be a late sleeper hit of this summer movie season. It will only be facing Bleecker Street's Logan Lucky in theaters, but it will arrive two weeks after Sony's The Dark Tower and a week after New Line's Annabelle: Creation. Take a look at the new trailer, posters and photos for The Hitman's Bodyguard below.

Blending an almighty spectacular show of explosions and action, coupled with the genius casting of Reynolds and Jackson as a bodyguard and hitman, the trailer is full of wit as Reynolds endures his ultimate nightmare with that deadpan look he conveys so well.
