Is SMindMap free?

SMindMap is completely free with the Free trial plan, which offers standard, smart and beautiful features. For premium and unlimited features, we offer the Paid version plan. Pricing is based on the number of users and the subscription length.


Why am I being charged by Paddle?

Paddle is our payment processor, which also acts as our Merchant of Record. This saves our engineers time and energy managing payment options from around the world and ensures they can spend more time improving our products rather than handling issues with multiple payment processors.

What is VAT in my invoice?

VAT stands for Value Added Tax, also sometimes referred to as Sales Tax. It's a consumption tax levied on digital products sold to consumers within the EU, certain US interstate transactions, and a growing number of countries.


Why is my purchase taxed?

Using Paddle as our payment processor also means that we have to abide by Paddle's Acceptable Use Policy (AUP). They require a tax on goods and services depending on your local tax laws. According to Paddle's AUP, our mindmap drawing service falls within taxable parameters.


Can I upgrade or cancel my subscription?

Yes, you can upgrade or cancel your subscription anytime by going to Customer Portal (click on your avatar on top of homepage > Account Menu).
