Dear all,
this is just a reminder of today's "Smile in Paris" tutorial on gradient methods for non-convex problems at ENS (Salle Jean Jaurès, 29 rue d’Ulm, 75005 Paris)
between 16h30 and 18h30.
In other news, next year there will be a conference on "Mixtures, Hidden Markov Models and Clustering" at the Institut de Mathématique d’Orsay, see the advert below.
*************************************************
A conference entitled « Mixtures, Hidden Markov Models and Clustering »
will take place at the Institut de Mathématique d’Orsay on June 17-19,
2020.
The aim of these 3 days is to bring together researchers in the field
for presentations, exchanges, and discussions on the results and
perspectives in the very active field of mixing model theory, hidden
Markov models and classification.
A more detailed description and list of speakers can be found on the conference website
https://www.math.u-psud.fr/~mhc2020/
Participation is free but mandatory.
Feel free to share the information.
Best regards,
Elisabeth Gassiat (for MHC2020 organizers).
