Enumerate CIM_StorageVolume class instances to list volumes. I hope you're looking for virtual disks on the clariion array.
Well Netapps are NAS devices under the hood that's why they utilize the distinction. An EMC Clariion is a pure block storage array so yes it talks about LUNs but one thing which can be confusing is I've seen a few devices in the past which used the two terms somewhat interchangeably. In other words for every LUN the reported a matching VOLUME as well. So if your trying to write something to handle multiple vendors watch our for LUNs and Volumes with the same name they are usually but not always talking about the same thing on the array.-- Sent from my HP Pre3
