Oh, cool! Time to order your Google Cardboard thinger (£8.99, other brands are available) now.
On this, I was at The Rooms Festival in Bristol (sorry, too cool for London folk) on Friday and Saturday, and had a go on the new virtual reality stuff: a music video filmed with a 360degree camera. Pretty creepy, as a Welsh band play punk rock dressed as zombies all around you… chilling!
Looks like the technology is finally coming of age (and affordable), even if the focus-distance problem is still an issue.
